I loved how Jillian and Sam’s wedding album turned out. The cover here is Japanese silk linen, and the color they chose is called Burnt Sienna. It’s a 10×10 album, and feels nice and solid in my hands. Each album is hand bound and it takes several weeks to make one. But they are meant to be heirloom albums that you can pass on to future generations.
Sometimes… maybe a lot of times, family portraits with toddlers do not go as planned…
Halyn wanted some organic headshots for her work, she’s a graphic designer so we wanted something a little less traditional. We had fun going in the park and taking pictures!
It was such a joyous occasion! I’ve known Laura and John for a while now. They are both avid fans of yoga and biking. They met at a bike race. It was such a fun austin wedding! The weather cooperated and we had lovely weather as well.

I love doing day in the life sessions. They capture a slice of your life, and it’s not about dressing up or posing for the day. It’s so that one day you can look back and see what you did. What your morning routine was with the baby, or the bedtime routines. It’s a little slice of your life, captured for the future when memories become hazy.
