I got a chance to work with some models recently. They wore wigs, and dressed up in a vintage-style. I’ve worked with models before, but this session reminded me that I much prefer taking un-posed pictures. When someone knows they’re being photographed, they become self-conscious and the expressions in their face reflect that. So my favorite shots from this session ended up being the ones where they are unprepared for a shot.
