What a treat! Gina Patterson choreographed amazing dance pieces that swirled around chocolate and dance. This is first in a series of their “Aphrodite Dances” with the Voice dance company (co-founders Eric Midgely and Gina Patterson). I followed them during their rehearsal process, dress rehearsal, and finally with their live performance at Mercury Hall. The audiences watched the dances, while sampling rich chocolate drinks and bites at the same time. It was a wonderful sensory experience. It was an honor being part of the experience!

Wow, so interesting! I can get behind anything that involves chocolate! Especially with awesome photos and dance!

Tilt shift + dancers + Nadine = MAGIC!
You’ve done some really nice work with the light.
Very cool shots Nadine. I love the chocolate concept. Great job capturing the mood in these images.
Incredible!!! Those first and third shots really moved me. Beautiful captures Nadine!
Spectacular shots! You can feel the passion these dancers have for their art. Wonderful, Nadine!
SO neat! Makes me really miss dancing!

Lovely indeed! Its great to work with artists out of photography and get inspired too! Thanx for sharing these.
I like your photos. Lovely:)
I’ve always wished I was a good dancer. I’m not, but I love dancing. And I love this set.
I love the story-telling, way to not just focus on the stage!
So emotive! Love it!
These are gorgeous! I really like the tilt-shift image…
