This is a wedding I assisted for the lovely and talented Caroline of Ben + Caroline Photography. It was a gorgeous day at the Star Hill Ranch, and the bride and groom were so adorable and in love, it makes me smile to remember them. Here are a few of my favorites from the wedding.

wedding in palm door, austin, texas
Here is an Austin winter wedding at the Palm Door. The bride, Amy, found her dress during her college years, before she even knew who she was going to marry. It was a vintage dress that she just had to have. I love how it looked on her! The wedding was a lot of fun, and the dancing itself was spectacularly fun, not a surprise since Amy started the Austin chapter of Dance Dance Party Party! which by the way, is a women’s only dance party that happens every Sunday night, a safe place to just dance your heart out. The groom, Curtis, is one of the funniest people I know. He is an improvisor, actor, and all around awesome guy. Their wedding was good times!

Allison - Awesome! Congratulations. Always great to get published.

It hadn’t rained in Austin, Texas for months, and of course, the first real downpour happened on a Saturday in October, one of the most popular days for a wedding in Texas. However, Jen rolled with it, and Mercury Hall was gorgeous even for an indoor ceremony, with sunlight pouring through the colorful stained glass windows. I love Jen’s veil, which her mother made, and her lovely vintage dress. Also, discovered a new cupcake maker in town,Claud, hands down the best chocolate cupcake I’ve eaten in Austin.
