Vista West Ranch is definitely one of my favorite venues, what a gorgeous gorgeous venue and this was a lovely spring wedding. Genaro and Cynthia were so happy to each other at the ceremony, there was a lot of emotions involved. I loved their longhorn cake and their angry birds cake. It was just the perfect day!

It was a lovely summer day, with wonderful sunsets and a wedding on a river boat. I was so thrilled because I had never been on a riverboat wedding. It was an old style pontoon, like the kind that used to go down the Mississippi river. The couple and their guests had a great time celebrating on the lake.

Here are a few from a slice of life I did with Ballet Austin dancers, Paul and Anne Bloodgood and their newborn, who they refer to as their future Jedi, because of the family’s love of Star Wars. May you grow up strong in the force, baby!

This amazing engagement session was styled by Heather from Vintage and Lace. We ran into surprisingly strong winds for Texas and it was quite an endeavor trying to get the balloon to stay in place, but we managed! I love the dresses that the bride wore, simply beautiful. This was a delicious and scrumptious wedding! It isn’t a surprise since they both work in the dining industry. The bride is the executive chef of vino vino. And as a result, the food was amazing. They had a wonderful cheese board and also had 2 pig roasts.

The cake cutting was done by chef’s spoons, which was something I had to learn about. And their favors for their guests were recipe cards.

It was a wonderful time at Vuka, a venue in South Austin.
