This was a super fun austin spring wedding. The getting ready was at the Embassy Suites on south congress and it was a hop,skip and a jump to the Long Center for a wedding in their outside area.

It was a cloudy day and the rain held off till just after the ceremony ended, a weather wedding miracle!

The reception was held at the Highball/Alamo Drafthose on South Lamar. And there was a talented band that people danced to.

It was a very Austin wedding!

About 5 years ago, I shot my first same sex couple, it wasn’t legal in Texas, and I remember their exit vehicle had a sign that said “Just married! (kinda)”. Recently I got to visit them again at their house, and they have 2 kids now, and make for the sweetest family. Love is love.

JR and Jaxson made for an adorable couple, and their engagement session at Austin’s townlake and congress bridge was made even more amazing by their cute golden retriever dog. We walked around the lady bird lake and got to enjoy the evening downtown scene while taking photographs!
