The bride met the groom at La Condessa, so it was appropriate that their wedding reception happened at Malverde, the event space about La Condessa.
Their beautiful ceremony was in the stained glass chapel of Highland Park Baptist Church. We also got a chance to go to the Lamar pedestrian bridge to get shots of the ever changing Austin skyline. The spring rains held off to give this couple a perfect Texas spring day for their wedding.

I got to photograph the talented Heidi Miller, who is a watercolor artist in Austin, Texas. Her work currently graces the wall of Cherrywood Coffeeshop. She has such a great artistic eye and I love her art.

She is currently doing a series of animal water colors that are made of geometric patterns and shapes, and is very interesting to just gaze at.

She also teaches watercolor classes in Austin, get in touch with her if you’re trying to get some more art in your life!

These photos are from the adult ballet dance camp that is held in Richmond, Virginia every year in the summer. It is a great time for amateur ballet lovers to gather together, and just play at being ballerinas. In addition to classes, there are many social opportunities, it’s like a convention for ballet.
